All PDF editing, merging, splitting, OCR, and compression happens directly inside your web browser using WebAssembly and client-side processing. Your files never leave your device.
1. Document Privacy & Zero-Server Storage
We do not upload, store, inspect, or copy the contents of your files on any remote servers. Files loaded into any JustPDFConverter tool remain strictly inside your browser memory (RAM) and are discarded as soon as you close or refresh the tab. We do not access, analyze, or retain any text, images, or metadata contained within your documents.
2. First-Party Local Storage & Essential Settings
We use browser local storage solely to remember your UI preferences (such as light or dark mode theme, preferred compression level, and language) and your account login session token if you choose to sign in. We do not use first-party tracking cookies to profile you or sell your personal information.
3. Advertising & Third-Party Cookies (Google AdSense)
To keep all 23 PDF tools 100% free and accessible without subscription fees or paywalls, we display advertising supported by third-party advertising vendors, including Google.

Because our document processing engine runs entirely on your local machine using WebAssembly and client-side JavaScript, we do not collect, process, or sell your documents or private personal records. Under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, you retain full rights over your data. Since zero file data is transferred to or stored on our servers, your document privacy is guaranteed by design.
5. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will take prompt steps to remove such information from our records.
